Soup's On

Over the weekend my Mother-In-Law gave me a box full of fresh produce from her garden.  So last night when I was trying to come up with something to make for dinner I decided on homemade chicken noodle soup (with carrots from the garden) and zucchini bread.  Nothing will make your house feel like Fall faster than the smell of these two cooking.  I think I'm ready for Summer to be over, bring on the soups!

That looks so good! I love soup in the Fall and it's been cold here so I have been thinking of soup recipes! Yum!!

You may be ready for fall, but it is still 99 degrees here. All is well though. Becky back tomorrow. Hope you have found some fun things to do. The soup and zucchini bread look great.

Wow, what a tiny little bowl of soup with two reasonably-sized slices of delicious bread. Hm. I forget that people are supposed to eat like that. I think if I could wrap my mind around that, my life would be a lot easier. Not every meal is my last. I don't have to lick the bottom of the pot before I stop eating. I'm sure it would cut down on my grocery budget too...
