Some to Display and Some to GIVEAWAY!

Are you sick of my jewelry displays yet?  You might be.  But I'm not.  I just had to show you how they look hung up in my bedroom.  I put three of them up yesterday and I'm kind of loving the results. I was waiting to see if Travis would ask me why I'd turned our dresser into a jewelry store, but so far he hasn't said a word.  If I'd come home and he'd put sports memorabilia everywhere you'd better believe I'd have said something.  But for now they're staying put.  He seems to be okay with my stuff as long as there's no flowers on the couch or our bed spread.  That's what he's been saying for the last ten years anyway.  Most likely he didn't even notice them, and that's just as well too.

So I figured I had room for these three displays, but all five were kind of over kill.  So... I've got these two left.  I think I'll hold a giveaway, and let the winner choose which one they want.  Which would you choose, the yellow ring holder or the blue ring and bracelet holder?  Sorry, the jewelry doesn't come with it.

And while we're having show and tell here I thought I'd show you where I decided to put my new silhouettes.  I was going to put them in my bathroom, but I thought I'd rather have them out for all to see, and so I stuck them on my mantel.  What do you think?

Okay so here's the rules for the giveaway.

Leave a comment here on my blog answering the following question:  What is your favorite restaurant?

I'll pick a winner sometime on Saturday (May 8, 2010) so you'll have between now and then to enter.  Only one comment per person.

I've been thinking about restaurants today because tomorrow is my 10th wedding anniversary (and I need an idea of where to celebrate).  Travis and I got married 10 years ago on Cinco De Mayo in Arizona.  We even honeymooned in Mexico.  So I'm kind of excited about tomorrow (I have a fun Mexican dinner planned for us and the kids) and this weekend (date night).  Travis and I are hoping to take a trip together later this Summer to commemorate, but for now we'll just have to celebrate with a nice dinner out this weekend.  That's why I'm thinking about restaurants, I'm trying to decide where we should go.  So if you live in the greater Salt Lake area I'd love some suggestions!

As cheesy as it sounds, I love Olive Garden. Something about neverending salad and bread sticks rocks my boat! Thanks!

I love Olive Garden too! The Cheesecake Factory would be fun. (Just don't make the mistake of looking up how many calories are in your meal!)

Congrats on 10 years. I LOVE so many resturants in SLC. Whenever Dave and I go out to celebrate something big we usually go to Cucina Toscana. Its amazing and authentic italian food...a little pricey but a fun splurge when you are celebrating. We also like Sette bello, Sawadee, Lamb's Cafe, and of course The Roof is always yummy and nice. Have a great night out and a very happy tenth!!!!

Congratulations on your 10 year wedding anniversary. I am in the Boise area, but I believe you guys have a Melting Pot, right? Or at least you used to. Fondue is always a little romantic and you can't go wrong with the chocolate fondue at the end.

Have a wonderful 10 year reunion and I hope I receive one of your jewelry displays! I am actually making 9 for a baby shower "thank you" take home! I hope they enjoy them as much as I have!

Well you know I am entering for sure! My favorite restaurant is Bravi, in Arizona. I miss it like crazy! Go there if you haven't. It is off the 101 and Union Hills. Their Pear Gorgonzola salad...YUM! Can we say 'pregnancy craving that I cannot fulfill?' Yeah, it haunts my dreams.

And........I just realized you live in Utah now. So. If you go back to visit...you will have to go there. :)

Oh man those pictures take me back Nancy. I can't believe it has been 10 years. You two are still as young looking as you were back then. We should do another Sundance photo shoot to commemorate the special 10year event. So fun. Anyway, my favorite restaurant is Bucca De Beppo. I think there is one in SLC. So fun and super yummy food!

At least you have a ferocious looking dog on your dresser. That ought to count for something for Travis. I'll let everybody else reccommend restaurants, but I will say that I had a couple of really good crispy shrimp tacos ad Del Taco Sat.

Congrats on the 10 years! I love your decorating styles and I'd love to take that bracelet holder off your hands. :) As for resturant, I'm in LA so any suggestion I'd have wouldn't help but I LOVE pizza. So generally when we want good food we head out for pizza, whether it be fancy or just the local pizza joint.

Biaggi's at The Gateway is really good!! Happy anniversary! :)

I'd pick the yellow one. Even though I have all of three rings to put on it. :)
As for restaurants, I'm a big cheesecake factory fan. I know, not original at all. But I don't know about any "cool" places up there, only down in Utah County.

I would pick the blue one. I have more bracelets than rings.

Congrats on the 10 years. I have my 5 year wedding anniversary tomorrow! I'm also trying to think of a great restaurant to go to.

In Salt Lake, we mainly went to mainstream restaurants like Olive Garden, Chili's, etc. I'm thinking we might go to Babbo's for our anniversary dinner.

Congrats!

This year my husband and I went to Carvers in Sandy. It was so good!!! But I have to say Benihanas brings me back to an awesome 3rd anniversary night. That night my husband and I went to Benihanas, which was a big thing because we didn't have a lot of money. We were sat at a table with an older man and younger woman. The two were really drunk and annoying. It really bummed us out. At the end of the meal, the couple had left (finally) and we kept waiting for our bill. My husband finally asked for it, and the waiter said, that couple that sat with you paid for your meal!!! It just made our night!!! We will never forget it, even 14 anniversaries later!!!
Anyway, Happy Anniversary:)
