A Tweet Sunday Giveaway

Bet you thought I made cookies today. Guess what? I didn't. Today I decided to go for more of a zero calorie treat, and made this.

I saw a cute cell phone case like this over at A Pretty Cool Life. I have been thinking that I needed some sort of case for my phone to protect the screen, and this fit the bill perfectly. I've had this cute fabric for a while now and thought it would be perfect for this project since it kind of coordinates with the purse I carry these days. What do you think?

Do you like it? Do you want one? Good. I made two. One for me, and one for you. Well one of you anyway.

And if you don't win this giveaway, don't worry, you can make your own. Seriously, this project is so easy and quick that even a novice sewer like myself could make it, it would make a great beginner project. Here's the tutorial. I didn't follow it exactly, mostly because I'd be going back and forth from sewing machine to computer, but it would be pretty simple to make even without a tutorial. In fact it reminds me a lot of this cute little coin purse (this girl's etsy shop is closed, or I would have linked to it for you) that I got Hallie at the Beehive Bazaar last year.

These cases that I made are the perfect size for an iPhone or an iPod Touch, but I think most cell phones would fit in here. And if you don't want it for your cell phone it's just a cute little carrying case, you could put things like jewelry, kleenex, or candy in it.

So to enter the giveaway simply answer this question: What is your favorite Easter candy? Here's mine:
I'll keep this giveaway open until Thursday (March 18) afternoon (I'm not going to be specific about a time because I'll probably forget to do it right on time). Please only leave one comment per person, and I'll use Random.org to pick a winner. Anonymous comments won't count, so if you leave a comment under anonymous make sure that you leave your name and a way to get a hold of you (like an email address). Good luck, tell your friends, and don't be shy! I'd love to hear from EVERYONE!

I never enter contests... but that is too cute! I love it!

My favorite is the Snickers Eggs. They are even better than the regular bars.

Thinking about all this candy can't be good :)

I love the mini eggs as well. Mine are hidden ;) And did you know at Christmas time Cadbury makes pretty much the same candy only they are balls and they are red, green and white of course!

It's a tie between the mini eggs and the cadbury creme eggs. It seems that you either LOVE the Cadbury Creme Eggs or Hate them, there is very little inbetween.

how can anything be better than peeps? i mean, really ... anything you can put toothpicks in their hands, stick them in the microwave, and watch them fight ... then eat - they rock!!

Oh my gosh I am cracking up laughing right now because that was my friend that had her hair fall out--ha! I can't believe you remember that :)

Hands down, the Starburst jelly beans or Jellie Bellies. I fill my hoodie pockets with them while watching the kids ride bikes outside. They never know they're there, and I never tell. So if I look particularly happy just watching kids...you now know why. :)
PS - Cutest fabrics!

Very cute cell phone case! And my favorite Easter candy is easily the original Cadbury Egg with the cream center.

Oooooooh, those are sooooo cute. So Fancy, Nancy! Candy isn't my weakness, so my faves at Easter are a little unconventional: Mounds, Almond Joy, and Twizzlers :)

For years I have loved any brand of solid chocolate easter egg with the foil wrapped around. I guess I just like the frustration of trying to unwrap them and then the tooth pain if you don't get off all the foil. Your little cell phone bag is such a cute idea and love the fabric.

Hmmmmm. . . favorite candy. . . dove chocolate eggs? And I'm a big fan of Reese pb eggs. Chocolate and peanut butter is about a winsom as Nancy and a sewing machine ;)

Angela said...

I respectfully request that when I win, my cell phone case be filled with cadbury mini eggs, dove eggs, and at least one reeses egg. Thank you for your consideration. :)

Dawn said...

Thanks for the heads up! I love your latest creation. I have to say I don't really have a favorite easter candy but I do like the cadbury creme eggs. I usually just prefer hot tamales!

Maddie said...

Ummm... favorite candy... white chocolate bunny or Nerds. I don't really know!

Savanna said...
