Let's pretend

Okay so play a little game with me. Let's say you're moving in two weeks. Pretend that you're not as excited about this move as you might ought to be, so the only thing you can do to make yourself excited is think about the new home you will soon get to decorate. And pretend this "new home" is basically a clean slate (even thought it has dark cabinets and you wanted white you're trying to cope) and you can do whatever you want with it. Maybe you're thinking of going with some sort of turquoise or lime color for accents in your kitchen/family room area. And now just imagine that you've been spending too much time looking at fabric swatches online instead of cleaning out your linen closets. And now you've got some ideas narrowed down as far as fabrics go. Maybe even these fabrics here. Now you can only choose one, and it has to be your favorite one because fabric is not cheap and you're going to need a lot of it. Now go ahead and choose one. Which would you choose?

12 reminds me bigtime of your childhood home, so that is the nostalgia vote, but my favorite is 7.

i like 5 and 6 - ditto Emily on #12. Something about #7 also evokes memories of your childhood home but I really like it as well.

Oh, they're all so nice! But if I had to choose, I'd say, 5, 6 or 7, with some 9 mixed in.

Does that help? Where are 5 and 6 and 7 and 9 from?

Good luck! Maybe you should wait until you get there to make the decision.

First of all I really like them all!! And secondly, we aren't very excited for you moving away either. I would have to say either 3,4, or 7 are my favorite (not in that order though, 7 is my ultimate favorite). Can't wait to see what you pick and what you will do with them!

Sarah, 5, 6, and 7 are all waverly I think, I looked all over, but the majority of them were from fabric.com. It's great that you all seem in agreement on 7 as that is possibly my favorite. And I'm not purchasing anything til I get there, but just like I said, keeping myself and my mind occupied with "happy thoughts." I'm retarded.

Emily and Sarah have good memories. No 12 is exactly what we had in our old home before you were born, so shall we say 70's? 5,6,and 7 resemble the one above, but I of course like them all or I wouldn't have picked them all those years ago. They must have come back. So to me, 1,2,3,4 all seem a little more updated. But I like them all and 8 is really my favorite.

If I only got to pick one, and it was meant as an accent for a whole room, probably 5, but I really like 6 and 7 as well.

I guess it depends on what you're using them for? Recovering a couch, curtains, throw pillows??? I like them all but am thinking 7 and 8 are really cool with another mixed in. I love the versatility of 5 and 6.

Pick just one? Impossible I say! Two I can do: # 1 and # 11. They are by far the best choices. I even scrolled down quickly so as not to be influenced by previous comments. I have no idea what anyone else has said! I will go back and see if anyone agrees with me, but I stick with my convictions! Those are gorgeousness.

I say for a whole room, no. 4. Not because I don't like the others, but it's a more classic look so it will stand the test of time better than the others. The others are more trendy--which is nice, but if you aren't making bucks you might be stuck with something that looks dated way too soon.
