Sterling Cupcakes and a Giveaway

Katie harvesting corn and boys!

My cute sister Katie had her third baby boy late last night. Sterling K. came into this world right before midnight weighing in at 8 lbs. We're grateful for Katie's sake that he wasn't quite as big as his older brother Truman who weighed just under 10 lbs. Kate is very good at bringing big healthy boys into this world, I only wish I could be there to give her a big hug and hold her new little one. Hopefully I get to meet little Sterling sometime before his first birthday, I don't really like this long distance relationship thing! Can't wait to see pictures of the little guy, if he looks anything like his older brothers he's sure to be cute! Congrats Katie, Ben, Truman and Walker, I love you!

In honor of little Sterling I decided to show you some cupcakes I made out of Scrabble tiles. Aren't they cute? I'd seen them on Etsy and thought I'd give them a try. They are fun and easy to make, and have a cute sterling silver bail to string them on a necklace. They'd be cute for birthdays or Valentine's Day, or for a special little girl in your life. In honor of Sterling I'm going to give one away. Just leave me a comment and I'll draw a winner on Monday morning. Even if you've never commented before, don't be shy, I'd love to see who's out there, good luck!

Congratulations to Katie- halleluja it wasn't another 10 pounder! Your necklaces are adorable, I have some Arabic scrabble tiles and I would love to do something like that with them. You need to teach me. You are so resourceful!

Thanks for dropping by for a quick visit. I'm sorry we didn't catch up again in Utah (I kept forgetting to look up your cell phone number when I was out).
