EXTREME MAKEOVER

Team Courtancy

So I've been asking Courtney for quite some time now to help me make a blog header. I had in mind pretty much what I wanted, but seeing how I'm entirely photoshop challenged, I needed Courtney to execute my design. And execute it she did, I love, love it! She invited our family over yesterday to watch the BYU game, so we did what I would normally do when watching football: something else, and we designed my new header. I think we make a great team, I told her, I think I've got this digital scrapbooking thing down, all I have to do is tell you exactly what I want, and have you do it for me! Actually I really do want to learn, so that is my new goal. In fact I'm even attending Court's class on Tuesday, I have high expectations that I will come away a pro. Don't let me down Courtney! Thank you, thank you for my new header.

Beautiful header Nancy. You make a great creative director! You always have been good at telling people what to do. Like when we were growing up and you'd take a hanger, point to something on your floor and say, "pick this up Katie, and pick this up Katie, and this..." Those were the good old days!

You are a greative genius and it was fun. What are we going to do for the next game?

So cute Nancy, I wish I was there to go to Courtney's class because I have photoshop elements and I need some lessons. I think I might take one at the camera store because now I have this awesome camera and I need to do my scrapbooking. I love the header and I love seeing your creativity.

uhhh, can you give my blog and scrapbook (files of photos on the hard-drive) a facelift? Looks awesome, I am wishing I was there for Courtney's digital scrapbooking lesson, I'll have to learn the hard way and send lots of questions to Courtney and Mandy.

You young gals are just plain inspiring. I had to link to your blog so my kiddos could see your cuteness. Thanks for letting me sneak in and get updated on your sweet lives.

Love the makeover!!! Great team. I really wish I could be there for Courtney's digital scrapbooking class. I got photoshop a few months ago and bought tons of scrapbooking kits, but haven't done a single page yet. My child is almost 2, I am so far behind. I need help. Please learn all you can at her class so you can help me!! Love the new look. Way to go girls!

Love the new look on your blog. You and Courtney do a great job together. I also had to find something else to do while the game was on, I think I cut my hair, but the few minutes I watched were pretty good. Keep learning lots from Courtney and someday you can teach me how to put pictures on the blog.

Love it! The header is great. It doesnt seem like it should be that hard to post a beautiful header, but it is. I must learn your tricks. And what blogger template is this?

Nancy said...

Sarah, Court is a pro, she did all this crazy HTML stuff that I could have never done, and it is not a template! It's a Court and Nancy original don't you know. Just kidding, but seriously it was not an easy feat, but Court rose to the challenge.

That's the part I don't get. How do you use a non-template on blogger? I really want to know. I need to take a class.

Sarah,

Nancy has the "minima" template. We then made a few changes to the dimensions, header, etc.

If you want to see anything, I can copy her HTML and email it to you.

Yes, I would like that! sarahhaslip@gmail.com. And how do you change the dimensions on the blog and header? Is that through photoshop elements too?

Nancy...
I haven't read your blog in a while, and well, I am back! I just love what you have been doing, and I still LOVE my bag! I can't wait to see you do more of this! You are so creative! I have been learning photoshop too this month, and wow it is fun...but so much to learn! Great header!

just to clarify to sarah haslip, I thought you meant a template for digital scrapbooking, yes I do have a template for the blog, but I think Court already clarified that!
